Slime Licker Candy Recall: What You Need to Know

"Popular Sour Candy Recalled Over Choking Hazard"

Candy Dynamics is recalling about 70 million Slime Licker sour rolling liquid candies due to a choking hazard. As per the Purchaser Item Security Commission (CPSC), the sweets' moving ball can separate from the item's compartment into a youngster's mouth, representing a gagging danger.

The reviewed Sludge Licker confections were sold in blue "Blue Razz," red "Strawberry," green "Sharp Apple," and pink "Dark Cherry" flavors. They were sold in both 2-ounce and 3-ounce holders, remembering for two-packs. The sweets marks incorporate the words "Harmful material" or "MEGA Harmful material" and "Sludge LICKER Harsh Moving Fluid Treats."

The recall was announced on October 5, 2023. Candy Dynamics has received two reports of the rolling applicator ball detaching from the container, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled Slime Licker candies should immediately stop using them and take them away from children. They can contact Candy Dynamics for a full refund of product that is not empty of liquid candy. Consumers can contact Candy Dynamics to receive free shipping to return their non-empty product.
